How Splatoo uses cookies and similar storage — kept to the minimum needed to run the site.
Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser. Similar technologies — such as your browser's local storage — work the same way: they let a site remember small pieces of information between visits.
The site runs on strictly necessary storage only. Analytics and marketing tools are optional: they load only after you allow them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time. Nothing optional is loaded before you decide.
Right now the site stores just a little on your device:
If you submit the contact form, the details you type are sent to us by email — that is covered on our Privacy & GDPR page, not by a cookie.
A few parts of the site are served by trusted providers — web hosting and email delivery — and the page loads a small amount of code (such as fonts and animation libraries) from their networks. These providers may set strictly necessary cookies to serve those files securely. We also use lightweight error monitoring to spot problems and keep the site working; it is not used to build a profile of you.
Optional tools, only with your consent: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (analytics — how the site is used, e.g. which pages are visited and how they are navigated) and Meta Pixel (marketing — measuring the reach of our campaigns). Once allowed, these providers set their own cookies and process data under their own privacy policies.
You are always in control. Change your choice any time with the Cookie settings button below or in the page footer. You can also clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you clear the language preference, the site simply asks you to choose a language again. Blocking strictly necessary items may affect how the site works.
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date in the sidebar shows when it was last changed.
